INSIDE & OUT TAG!!!

Started on YouTube by Mathom Books and because I enjoyed the tag so much I do it on here...

Inside Flap/back of the book summaries: to much information? Or not enough? there is nothing enough information I like to know what am going to read.
New book: what form do you want it in: Be honest. E-book, Paperbacks, Hardcover, and sometimes Audiobooks.
Scribble while you read? Do you like to write in your books, taking notes, making comments, or do you keep your books clean clean clean? Physically I cannot write in my books. I've tired for like when I define a word but later I go back to erase it anyway.
In your best voice, read from your favorite first sentence in a book: in a hole in the ground  there lived a Hobbit. From The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Does it matter to you weather the author is male or female when your deciding on a book? what if you are unsure of the authors gender? neither I don't judge by author more on the book itself.
Ever read ahead? Or have you ever read the last page way before you get there? Yes though I've been getting better at not doing that anymore.

&

Organized bookshelves or outrageous bookshelves: Organized which is the only thing I actual keep organized in my room.
Under oath: have you ever brought a book based on the cover (alone)? no it may interest me but I always read the summary to see if I will actual enjoy it.
Take it outside or stay inside? I take my books everywhere with me.

Angelfall by Susan Ee Review

Series: Penryn & the End of Days #1)

Format: audiobook

Pages: 283

Rating: 5/5

Recemend: yes

Summary:It's been six weeks since angels of the apocalypse descended to demolish the modern world. Street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night. When warrior angels fly away with a helpless little girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back.

Anything, including making a deal with an enemy angel.

Raffe is a warrior who lies broken and wingless on the street. After eons of fighting his own battles, he finds himself being rescued from a desperate situation by a half-starved teenage girl.

Traveling through a dark and twisted Northern California, they have only each other to rely on for survival. Together, they journey toward the angels' stronghold in San Francisco where she'll risk everything to rescue her sister and he'll put himself at the mercy of his greatest enemies for the chance to be made whole again.

I can see why people seem to like it so much. I love the humor between the two main characters Raffe and Penryn. Also love that there was less romance and more action in the book. Which is understandable because their pretty much running from place to place. One thing I hope not to find in the next book is that there is a love triangle between the rebel leader, Raffe, and Penryn. All three have to much to worry about so hopefully it'll be between the two main. Now the main characters are interesting Penryn grew up to fast with a wheelchair bound little sister and a mother who talks to beings that she believes she sees. Plus you kind a have to in a Post Apocalyptic world where angels rule above and street gangs rule the ground. But she sure knows how to think on her feet. And Raffe is just a pissed off fallen angel who does have a soft side which he doesn't show all that much. My favorite characters have to be the twins at the rebel camp. though they weren't in this a lot they still put a smile to my face. The last couple of chapters where crazy and now I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens.

The Hobbit Review

The HobbitFormat: paperback
Rating: 5/5
Style: Classic/Fantasy
Recommend: Yes
Summary: The beginning of the greatest fantasy epic of our time. Bilbo Baggins was a hobbit who wanted to be left alone in quiet comfort. But the wizard Gandalf came along with a band of homeless dwarves. Soon Bilbo was drawn into their quest, facing evil orcs, savage wolves, giant spiders, and worse unknown dangers. Finally, it was Bilbo–alone and unaided–who had to confront the great dragon Smaug, the terror of an entire countryside.

Thoughts:
J.R.R Tolkien really knows how to bring a place like middle earth to life with the characters and creatures. Though I have to say in the beginning Bilbo and the dwarves annoyed me. Especially Bilbo there is only so many times you can hear him complain and want to be home. However he became more confidence in himself after the who Goblin cave, but I believe he really proved himself in the Mirkwood. The dwarves has their up and down for me they are a musical and hunger group. One thing that bothers me and J.R.R put it perfectly is that this "Dwarves are not hero's, but calculating folk with a great idea of the value of money; some are not, but decent enough people like Thorin and company, if you don't expect to much." which is so true since whenever there need to be someone to go ahead to scot it was always Bilbo. At first Bilbo would just do it and keep all the mean thoughts in his head, but in the end he got a voice. Am ready to read the rest of the Hobbit series and find out where this will end up.
